Location: Boston, MA or remote
Position Summary:
You work as part of a multi-disciplined project team comprising members from e-Spirit, the customer and partners. The primary responsibility of this position is analysis, design, development, and implementation of all the technical aspects of a project to meet customers' business needs and to enable partners to implement projects successfully.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work in several of the technology areas necessary to fulfill the scope of a customer project: analysis, conceptual design, estimate, planning, implementation, installation, setup, testing, roll-out, custom application development, integration, data migration, upgrades
- Develop the deliverables (code/test/debug/documentation) as specified
- Assist in analyzing customers’ business requirements and application objectives
- Assist with proposal development and post-implementation reviews
- Provide technical sales support and/or assistance to the product support helpdesk on delivered solutions or escalation
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed and regularly (50% on average but up to 80%) within US and Canada with possible travel overseas at times
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2+ years of consulting/development experience
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Knowledge of and experience with design and development of ECM solutions, or at least client/server and/or web based applications
- Good understanding or experience in two or more of the following areas: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
