Within the scope of a technology study on the use of the FirstSpirit CMS on iPads, the e-Spirit R&D department has adopted the content management system’s WebClient for the Apple tablet.

The FirstSpirit WebClient is the easy-to-use, intuitive editor interface of FirstSpirit and provides for processing content directly on websites opened in a browser.
WebClient functionalities offered on the iPad are allowing editors to efficiently work on websites wherever they are. They can generate content quickly and conveniently on their iPad and publish the information. Workflows within the content management system can be started or edited via WebClient on the iPad. This means heads of department or senior editors can review and release content on the go. This is a huge benefit for the media industry as well as for press and marketing specialists and any organization that depends on always up-to-date web content.
It is also possible to amend structured or unstructured web content. Editors have full access to search functions and the media management component of the CMS while performing these tasks.
