Ceyoniq launches enterprise web site with FirstSpirit

The Bielefeld specialist for document management and archiving, Ceyroniq, has implemented its Internet presence on the basis of the FirstSpirit Content Management technology of the Dortmund software manufacturer e-Spirit. Crucial for the decision of the Java and XML based standard software were the simple operability, the high-degree of cost transparency and the extensive functions of the system. Ceyoniq developed the templates for the new web presence on its own after three days of training, and thus realized the new Internet presence independently of external service providers.

Innovative IT products for document management in the firm is Ceyoniq's focus. Ceyoniq was looking for a powerful tool in order to present these products on the Internet. Marcus Hartmann, sales and marketing director at Ceyoniq explained why the Dortmund firm got the nod: "FirstSpirit is a simple to operate system that covers all the requirements for maintaining our web sites. For a medium-sized company like Ceyoniq it is important to be independent of external service providers and to have a precise overview of costs for a system introduction. Consequently FirstSpirit is the ideal solution for us."

The reworked internet presence offers, in addition to the detailed description of the product portfolio, a search function and a separate area for representatives of the press, including photo archive. In a protected area Ceyoniq partners can access relevant information. A FAQ list and integration of the Ceyoniq newsletter round out the offering.

After the successful conclusion of the project Ceyoniq and e-Spirit are considering collaboration in terms of driving the integration of both product lines.
