e-Spirit Ready for IBM WebSphere Software

e-Spirit has received the IBM WebSphere Software seal of approval for its FirstSpirit™ Content Management System. FirstSpirit™ is now an IBM-approved solution and has been awarded the IBM trademark and logo.

The endorsement by IBM assures customers that FirstSpirit™ is a trusted and validated CMS solution that they can integrate easily into their IBM WebSphere infrastructure and e-commerce platform. The certified solution is listed in the IBM WebSphere Portal Business Solutions Catalogue ad Global Solutions Directory which gives e-Spirit additional exposure to IBM customers.

High-end CMS solution now available in IBM catalogue

Joern Bodemann, CEO, e-Spirit, commented: “IBM has positively endorsed our high-end CMS solution, it is now validated for IBM Websphere Portal Software.
“This is great news for e-Spirit, because this re-enforces our competence in the portal integration environment and differentiates our FirstSpirit solution from the competition.”

The latest version of e-Spirit’s solution FirstSpirit™ 4.2. is designed with an innovative look and feel. The new system brings functional enhancements, such as the ContentCruiser. This ensures content management is easier than ever and is specially designed to meet the need of editors who want to make fast and easy changes. It also requires no knowledge of content management processes.

Other key areas of the FirstSpirit™ 4.2 product include:

  • Smart Lounge: This allows the editor to have everything in view. The editor has a direct WYSIWYG view of their page within the JavaClient of FirstSpirit™ . The editor can simultaneously see what the page would look like after deployment.
  • Live-View: The Live-View simply localises the section of a page in the system and places the appropriate editing screen in the foreground for the editor. Editors can immediately see which Live-View section they are working on. This optimises data maintenance and enables intuitive working within complex projects.
  • Multi-tabbing: This function enables several elements to be opened next to each other. It allows for personalised working areas and individualised program starts which save the user’s tab layout when the client is closed and restores it the next time the program is started.
