Integrating media in FirstSpirit™
With the FirstSpirit™ MAM-Connect module developed by our partner ARITHNEA, web pages can be conveniently enhanced with image, video and audio files from an external Media Asset Management (MAM) system. It simplifies and accelerates the process for editors, who want to select content from an in-house media database, and edit and integrate it into a web page.
Advantages of the module
FirstSpirit™ MAM-Connect enables the integration of an external MAM system into the editing interface of the CMS. As a result, the editor can open, edit and deploy all media objects in their familiar user environment. Time-consuming and error-susceptible steps such as separate login into the MAM system, selection, local saving and importing of the files into the Media Store of the CMS are not necessary.
In addition, image, video and audio files are automatically transferred with maximum resolution. When the media files are imported into FirstSpirit™, selected metadata can be easily transferred at the same time. Regular synchronization of the data ensures the data pool in the FirstSpirit™ Media Store is up-to-date.
Most MAM systems can be linked using FirstSpirit™ MAM-Connect, it is currently certified for celum IMAGINE.
