The migration training course is aimed at clients and partners who want to migrate FirstSpirit™ 3.1 projects to FirstSpirit™ 4.x. A large number of enhancements have been introduced with FirstSpirit™ 4; for example, e-Spirit now uses a repository for the first time. All content including all media, templates and databases created by FirstSpirit™ are now completely versioned and historicized.
Major upgrade
For the first time since Version 1.0, it has therefore become necessary to migrate from one release to a subsequent release. The migration is, as far as possible, automatically carried out by an automatic migration wizard. However, a few adjustments still have to be made manually.

In addition we also provide specific documentations for this topic. Requirement for the one-day migrations training course is knwoledge of template development based on FirstSpirit™ 3.1.
