Worldwide relaunch of 38 country websites based on streamlined content management platform
In an effort to streamline processes in managing its 38 country websites, Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG has opted to implement the CMS solution from e-Spirit, FirstSpirit. With its user-friendly functions, the content management system simplifies publication of multilingual content and optimizes the efficiency of editing processes in the company.
By relaunching its entire website using the new technology as a basis, Rohde & Schwarz is equipping itself to meet its current and future requirements in the area of international online communication. In taking this step, the electronics manufacturer continues the expansion of its international presence, which has picked up more and more speed in recent years, in the web area, too. The company has some 7,400 employees in over 70 countries with global revenues of 1.3 billion euros (fiscal year from July 2009 to June 2010). Exports make up over 90 percent of this figure.
