AppCenter
Focusing on the editor work environment
By introducing the AppCenter e-Spirit expands the industry focus from the frontend to optimizing the work of the editors in the backend. This new approach creates measurable productivity gains through more efficient processes and a better usability.
This results in a whole new experience for online editors, since applications that were previously used separately are now available right in FirstSpirit with the accustomed interface and functionality and can be used directly in the CMS. Editors no longer have to keep switching between many different programs in order to transfer content from other applications to the CMS or to conduct information research. Data from embedded applications are displayed in the CMS and can be used, edited and subsequently published on a website, intranet or any other channel. Text, images, audio and video files, road maps, product information etc. can be comfortably processed in the FirstSpirit editor interface regardless of the source and with media continuity.
Benefits of the FirstSpirit AppCenter:
- Best-of-breed approach: Integration of established and successful web and desktop solutions into the CMS
- Usability and acceptance: Thanks to a centralized editing environment, users no longer have to switch between multiple programs and data processing continuity is assured
- Cost reduction: Savings thanks to reduced training, adaptation, maintenance and administrative effort
- Enabling: Functions that cannot be provided in-house due to high costs or hardware requirements are available through Cloud / SaaS integration (e.g. video infrastructure)
- Minimizing project-specific integration efforts: Straightforward integration of internal and external, customer-specific applications via the standardized AppCenter API
- Efficient development: New applications can be developed and integrated quickly in order to meet specific needs
